In a 2013 interview, O’Neill revealed that Amanda Bearse (Marcy D’Arcy) was the only cast member with whom he didn’t get along. The trouble reportedly started during season three, when O’Neill said that Bearse grew “more masculine” and “snarky.” O’Neill said that he had been supportive of Bearse’s decision to come out as a lesbian in 1993, but that he and David Faustino were the only cast members not to be invited to her 2010 wedding. Bearse was reportedly worried that the two would laugh at “two women in tuxedos.” O’Neill later admitted that he would have.
